Look What I Made

17 Aug

So a couple of weeks ago I made this “experiment”:

I basically free-handed it with no pattern or tutorial. It was a little too small for my cell phone, sloppy stitchery, and the seams were a little uneven. I really love the fabric though.

I decided to take another shot at it, this time with a tutorial. I didn’t use the same fabric because the summer is almost over and I wanted something that I could use through the fall and winter. Here is my second attempt at the clutch:

Not perfect, but a lot better than the first one. It even has a zipper and credit card pockets inside. I’m going to keep practicing and who knows…maybe you will see some in my store one day 🙂

Don’t forget there are only a couple of days left to enter the Pink Bow Bath Boutique giveaway! Click here to enter. If you already have, thanks!

Great Job! I have a million things on my dining table that I am trying to find time to make. Hoping to start up my own etsy shop very soon! Where do you find the time to work on your items?

Wow! That’s a big improvement. You are so talented…I pretty much wouldn’t know how to turn a sewing machine on.

I just wanted to say that wow they are both really cute! Keep up with it I say! I think you could do a cute giveaway for one. I would certainly want one of them. I especially love the pattern of the first one even if it is summery 🙂
