Recipe: S’mores Bars

After seeing the new episode of Yo Gabba Gabba where they went camping and ate s’mores I had to have some for myself. The thing was I didn’t have an open campfire and the ingredients to make them. A couple of days later I planned on making them in the microwave when I came across a recipe on the back of the graham cracker box. It is really easy and delicious.

Makes 36 bars

What you need:

  • 12 Graham Crackers
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup  firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 4 milk chocolate candy bars, broken into pieces (I used chocolate chips and sprinkled them over)


  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line pan with aluminum foil leaving 1-inch hangover on ends; spray foil with cooking spray. Place graham crackers side to side on foil.
  • Melt butter and brown sugar in medium sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and mixture comes to a boil. Pour evenly over crackers.
  • Bake 5-6 minutes until bubbly.
  • Remove pan from over. Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate pieces over. Continue baking until marshmallows are soft (about 2-3 minutes). Cool completely. Lift from pan using foil.
  • Cut into bars.
